Privacy Policy

YOUR PRIVACY IS IMPORTANT TO US…

We have created and will add new features in the future to the Napa Kitchen & Bar website. If you wish to use these features, you may be asked to share certain information with us. We respect your right to privacy and want you to know why we may ask for information and what happens to it after it is collected.

WHEN YOU SEND EMAIL TO NAPA KITCHEN & BAR VIA FORMS ON OUR WEBSITE…

We are collecting only the data you share with us in completing the form and do not share your data with any third party. Your email is routed immediately to the person responsible for answering inquiries from the website. We use reasonable precautions to keep the personal information you disclose to us secure. If you are requesting a group dining event or contacting us with a question or concern, your email correspondence may remain on our company servers for reference in assisting with your inquiry.

If you choose to join our email marketing subscriber list, you will complete a brief form that will deposit your information directly into our secure subscriber database at MailChimp.com. Neither Napa Kitchen & Bar nor MailChimp share your data with third-parties without your express permission. You may unsubscribe from the subscriber database at anytime by using the Unsubscribe or Update My Preferences links contained in the bottom area of any email you receive from us.

Should you wish to have your data wholly deleted from our website, company data storage and/or MailChimp subscriber database, please contact us and we will comply immediately with your request.

WHEN YOU MAKE PURCHASES VIA OUR ONLINE COMMERCE FEATURES…

Your transactional data is collected and processed by a third-party merchant gateway (PayPal.com) and we do not see and cannot access your credit or debit card details. Your payment details such as credit or debit card numbers, security codes and expiration dates are never shared with us or stored at our website. Refunds are issued by us via the PayPal interface where we are not able to see this data – we simply generate refund details regarding amount and PayPal uses their internal method to refund to card used for the transaction. We do not share your purchase behaviors or data with any third parties. We cannot control PayPal’s privacy policies and can only recommend that if privacy is of concern to you that you seek out and read their privacy statements prior to utilizing this payment service through our website.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS DATA COLLECTION…

We track visitation behaviors and statistics using the Google Analytics (GA4) Platform. Google does not share specific demographic information about visitors until an extremely high threshold of visitation takes place in order to assure anonymization of the data. In other words, we cannot retrieve gender, age, or interests specific to you as an individual visitor.

Our use of GA4 statistics is wholly to assist us in seeing how visitors (in general) are using the site, which pages and features are popular and which may need improvement for the purpose of improving visitor experiences. We do not attempt to identify or follow specific visitors’ paths through and away from the site. We review aggregate data about referring sources on the internet (where visitors in general came from) and where visitors went upon their departure if they followed a link we provided. We may share our website’s analytics data with third-party consultants or advisors but do not provide any specific data about individual visitors.

GENERAL PRIVACY…

There are links on our site to outside parties’ sites including but not limited to: OpenTable.com (for the purpose of making reservations) and DoorDash.com (for the purpose of creating online food and beverage orders for pick-up or delivery). We cannot control their privacy policies and can only recommend that if privacy is of concern to you that you seek out and read their privacy statements prior to disclosing any personal information while visiting these third-party sites and using their services.
