It’s Rosé season and we are celebrating this storied delight with five tastings of luscious variation. Rosé is produced by introducing just a bit of color from the skin of red grapes. This method dates back to the earliest days of winemaking before extended maceration and deeper pressing of red grapes (used to produce today’s bolder reds) came into favor. The ancients were likely drinking wines that appeared very much like today’s Rosé.
Learn more about these wines with our in-house Sommelier Rachael. We’ll enjoy a world tour of Rosé wines from Oregon, Italia, France, Austria and Portugal with our chef’s coursed pairings featuring the season’s freshest ingredients.
